Four Channels of Console Power

Stepping up from the iD24, the iD44 MKII doubles your analog input count with four of Audient’s acclaimed Class A Console Mic Preamps. These are the exact same circuits found in Audient's flagship ASP8024-HE desk, now providing a massive 70dB of gain.

Connect Your Outboard Gear

The iD44 MKII is built for a hybrid studio setup. It features two balanced inserts,
allowing you to patch in your favourite outboard gear directly into the signal chain before the audio hits the converters. These inserts provide direct access to the A/D converters so you get the cleanest possible signal path, bypassing the preamps when printing your mixes.

Future Proof Your Studio: 20-In / 24-Out Expansion

The iD44 MKII has great expandability. While it starts with four world-class analog inputs, the four ADAT I/O ports allow you to scale your studio as you need. By connecting two external 8 channel preamps (see below for GOBIRD's recommendations), you can boost your preamp count to a total of 20 channels with the iD44 at the centre.

This level of expandability future proofs your setup so you can work up to recording full live sessions and other big projects without needing to upgrade to a new system. On top of being able to add 16 extra inputs, the expandability to 24 outputs allow for complex routing, such as sending multiple headphone mixes to a band or integrating a large collection of outboard gear. The iD44 MKII does it all!

The ADAT input can be used to connect any ADAT enabled preamp unit regardless of brand, if you're looking to expand with the Audient sound, Audient offers three external preamp units, the EVO SP8, ASP800, and ASP880. Console Style Monitoring & Workflow

Taking inspiration from large format desks, the iD44 features dedicated hardware buttons for Talkback, Dim, Mute, and three extra programmable buttons which you can assign features like speaker switching (A/B), mono sum, or polarity invert. The talkback system lets you use any audio source like your computer’s built in mic as a talkback channel, so you leave your preamps free for recording! No need to sacrifice a preamp for a talkback.

Built in Loopback for Creators

The iD44 MKII's Audio Loopback feature allows you to capture computer audio and blend it with your microphones at the same time. Whether you're streaming a live performance, recording a podcast with remote guests, or creating high quality youtube videos, the iD44 MKII makes routing audio feeds easy.
