MOTU M4 4x4 USB-C Audio Interface for Recording, Mixing, and Podcasting

The MOTU M4 is a great quality interface that wont break the bank! Built around ESS's Sabre32 Ultra DAC chips for high quality conversion giving 120dB of dynamic range -129dBu of input noise. It features two combo XLR/TRS inputs on the front take mic, line, or Hi-Z guitar, each with its own gain knob and phantom power switch, and two more balanced 1/4" line inputs on the back for a total of four inputs. The M4 also has a full colour LCD for easy and accurate meter viewing!

For streaming or podcasting, the M4 has a loopback option that pulls your computer's audio back in as its own channel, so you can capture your computer audio alongside your mic. The M4's hardware direct monitoring means you can hear yourself through the interface with no lag, and a dedicated Input Monitor Mix knob lets you blend that live signal against whatever's coming back from your computer. MOTU measures round-trip latency at 2.5ms (96kHz, 32-sample buffer).

On the output side you get four balanced 1/4" outs plus set of mirrored RCAs and MIDI in/out ports. It runs entirely off USB-C bus power, comes housed in a solid metal chassis, and ships with MOTU Performer Lite and Ableton Live Lite as well as 6 GB of loops, sounds, and one-shot samples.
