Custom Engineered Capsule & FET Circuitry
Inside the C151 is a 16mm small diaphragm capsule custom engineered by AKG and a transformerless FET circuit. This combination delivers exceptional clarity and a wide dynamic range with its ultra low noise floor and a maximum SPL of 147dB, making it the perfect choice for all sorts of recording situations. From tracking acoustic instruments like drums/cymbals and acoustic guitar, to foley, vocals, podcasting and streaming, even as an ASMR mic thanks to its low noise floor, the AKG C151 will capture anything you put in front of it with depth and precision.
Eco Friendly Design and Accessories
The C151, like the rest of AKG's C Series, has been designed with sustainability in mind. The microphone bodies are made entirely from recycled PIR metals and alloys. The accessories have been engineered to minimise environmental impact and the packaging is fully recyclable.
