The WA-14 is Warm Audio's recreation of the rare "EB-circuit" 414-style microphone, widely regarded as one of the most accurate, true to source studio condensers ever made. It delivers clear mids, controlled bass, and accurate high-end emphasis, staying faithful to the original performance rather than colouring it, which is why the vintage design it's based on earned a reputation as one of the great "jack of all trades" mics."

Three switchable polar patterns, cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8, give you great flexibility in a session, and a variable -10dB/-20dB pad extends the mic's headroom up to 150dB SPL for loud sources. The WA-14 features a custom WA-12-B-60V capsule: an all-brass, edge-terminated, dual-backplate CK12-style design with a 1-inch (25.4mm), 6-micron, 24k gold-sputtered diaphragm using NOS Japanese mylar. Output runs through a fully discrete signal path and a custom USA-made CineMag transformer.
