Solid State Logic SiX Channel 500 Series Channel Strip

The SSL SiX CH packs a full SSL channel strip into a 1 slot 500 series unit, taking the mic preamp, EQ, and compressor from SSL's SiX mixer and putting them into a standalone 500 series module. It's built around the same SuperAnalogue mic preamp technology used across SSL's console range, offering a wide gain range with a low noise floor, clean and punchy so it's great on almost all sources.

The two-band EQ has high and low shelving filters centred at 3.5kHz and 60kHz, ±15dB of gain on each. Switch either band from shelf to bell and the centre frequencies moves to 5kHz and 200Hz, giving more flexibility from the same two controls depending on what you need. The single-knob channel compressor uses SSL's feed-forward circuit design with program-dependent attack time and automatic make-up gain.

The front-panel TRS input adds a line or Hi-Z DI input, useful for adding instruments without reaching for a separate DI box, or using the module purely as a summing channel.
