The Beta 58A's frequency response is specifically shaped for close-up vocal work, with a brightened midrange that gives lead and background vocals presence to cut through a dense mix. The supercardioid polar pattern lets you crank up the gain further without feedback and has great off axis rejection to eliminate bleed from monitors, other instruments, and room noise.
