Amphion monitors are GOBIRD's favourite! GOBIRD have used Amphion speakers paired with the Amphion Amp700 at our studio (Cordial Studios) since 2022. Amphion monitors have a perfect balance of clarity and detail without being fatiguing to your ears over long sessions. They are revealing enough to make critical mix decisions while still being beautiful to listen to for when you'd like to jam some music. The mix translation you get from Amphion monitors is great, you'll find yourself testing mixes much less on other systems because of the confidence Amphion monitors give you.

The Two18 is the flagship model of Amphion's studio monitor range and has become the trusted choice for the world's top engineers and producers, a few credited users include Mark "Spike" Stent, Dave Pensado, Josh Gudwin, and Finneas O'Connell. It carries forward the same design goals as the rest of the lineup, pinpoint imaging, phase accuracy and depth in Amphion's largest and most capable two-way cabinet.

Like the Two15, the Two18 uses an MTM (mid-tweeter-mid) driver layout, with two 6.5" aluminum woofers and a 1" titanium tweeter for more symmetric vertical dispersion than a conventional single-woofer design. The same low 1600Hz crossover and Corian waveguide handle time and phase alignment between drivers, and a pair of rear-mounted passive radiators for low end extension, avoiding the turbulence a port can introduce at higher volumes.

Stepping up from the One18's single 6.5" woofer to a dual-driver MTM layout, the Two18 is built for engineers who need more headroom and low-frequency extension in mid to larger rooms, without sacrificing the imaging and phase coherence that Amphion's are known for.
