Amphion One12 Passive Two Way Studio Monitor - Single

The One12 is the smallest model in Amphion's studio monitor lineup, built as a nearfield option for small studio spaces or mobile setups. It shares the same core design as the rest of the range: a low 1600Hz crossover point, a CNC-machined Corian waveguide for time and phase alignment, and a sealed cabinet with a rear passive radiator instead of a bass port.

Despite its compact 4.5" woofer, the One12 is capable of a surprisingly balanced low end for its size, delivering the same accurate, neutral character found across the One and Two series in a smaller footprint suited to smaller rooms or travel. Amphion monitors give you an accurate and detailed sound without hyping the highs, allowing you to work for hours on end without getting fatigue listening to them.

Like all Amphions, the One12 has great stereo imaging! and as Recording mag say: "The combination of the passive radiator and the wide waveguide for the tweeter produced a genuinely usable sweet spot that was marvelously wide and deep". Despite the small woofer size, they heard that "bass guitar and upright bass, low piano notes and kick drum, were all present and felt balanced, even though I wasn’t hearing the fundamental.
