Introducing the AML ez1084 500 Pre/EQ/DI. While built on the same iconic Class A design as the legendary 1073, the ez1084 takes it a step further with an expanded, more powerful EQ section. Praised by professional engineers for its authentic, massive sound, this mic pre is a true recreation of the classic Neve 1084.

Just like all of the other AML products, the ez1084 is one serious piece of kit, a two slot 500 series Class A Mic/Line Pre, EQ, and DI with all through hole components and no surface mount parts, featuring large Carnhill inductors and input/output transformers (as found in Neve 1084s). 

The ez1084 packs an insane amount of features in one compact unit, ontop of the coveted 1073 preamp section which features switchable mic/line level inputs, polarity, phantom power and the ability to select high or low impedance options (300/1200 Ohms), the ez1084 features a brilliant expanded eq section with 3 switchable EQ bands with cut and boost, a high Q switch and adjustable low pass/high pass filters. As the icing on the cake, the ez1084 has an integrated DI input with an easily accessable front jack, maximising the versatility of this already incredible unit. With plenty of tone shaping options and the option to record mic, line, or DI signals, you'll be reaching for this pre in every session!
